Finishing The Games, the movie that is a search by the unscrupulous producers to find a suitable actor in order to replace the actual star of the movie, Bruce Lee, is not a movie that you can cherish for long. Bruce Lee unexpectedly died during the filming of the movie Game of Death and had shot about 12 minutes of the movie. Although the idea of this movie is not as ridiculous as the movie itself, one can find that the movie is just a comedy producing a few giggles. The expectation that the movie will produce audible laughter has been completely put to an end as most part of the film has predictable scenes and issues.

Among the candidates that appear to reaplce the character of Bruce Lee are shown Troy Poon, Breeze Loo and Cole Kim. For adding laughs to the film, there is McCaleb Burnett as Tarrick Tyler, who is a white guy with blonde hair but declares to be partly Asian and Mousa Kraish as Raja Moore, the doctor who aspires to become a budding actor. These characters along with a few other contenders such as a Vietnamese, who is an effeminate refugee, add laughter and entertainment to the movie.

The most predictable incident in Finishing The Games is that of the relationship between Saraghina and Cole Kim, the former being the manager cum girlfriend of Kim. Apart from having obvious scenes, the film, written by Josh and Lin Diamond and Justin Lin as its director, it fails as it tries its best in order to make it interesting rather than adding the truth. Although the audiences very well are aware of the personality of Bruce Lee, the movie does not make efforts to show that why he was so important or what impact Lee had. Instead the eminent personality is made a butt of ridicule by poor jokes. As some people will really enjoy the funny moments of the movie, it is sure that majority of them will feel the way I felt.
